In line with this goal, our University trains the students as community leaders through education and consciousness-raising and underlines the importance of peace and strong institutions. Research and innovation are taken as such factors through which we make efforts to contribute to the problems encountered in these fields being understood and solved. In order to create peace, justice, and strong institutions, our University aims to continue to act in cooperation with other universities, non-governmental organizations, and international organizations.

- History of Modern Turkey: This course focuses on periods of war such as the Balkan Wars, World War I, the War of Independence, and World War II. The periods of war, the peace periods after a war, the destructiveness of wars, the institutional transformation for the permanence of peace, etc., are discussed within the scope of historical examples.
- KHAS103 History of Humankind: The module on powers, revolutions, and transformations discusses the emergence of democratic and national institutions such as modern parliaments.
