Kadir Has University aims to become a global research university. The university invests in new buildings to achieve this objective. New buildings include a Central Engineering Laboratory, a new building for the Mechatronics and Civil Engineering Departments, and a building for the Creative Industries Platform.
New buildings are constructed on smart building principles and in accordance with the strategic objective towards zero waste and increasing open and green spaces as stated in the 2020-2024 Strategic Plan.

The lighting system in the Engineering Building's lighting system is connected to automation system. The lighting of the whole building can be controlled from the control panel inside the building. It is also managed by downloading the automation application to our mobile devices. If the lighting is left on when there are no users left in the building, thanks to this system, on / off can be done remotely with a button. Thus, we contribute to energy saving.
